Colonial Dames Feted at Sikes Tea
In grateful recognition of all that the Colonial Dames of America in California, San Diego Chapter, have given to the Sikes Adobe Historic Farmhouse,
the San Dieguito River Park hosted a Tea for the Colonial Dames at the farmhouse on Tuesday, May 8, 2007. The Dames raised funds to provide the period wallpaper on the walls of the sitting room and east porch, and for the manta ceilings in those rooms and the adobe kitchen.
