OUR CHALLENGE IS TO ADD LAKE SUTHERLAND EAST TO THE RIVER PARK

SUMMARY
353-acre property immediately east of Lake Sutherland is a critical addition to the River Park and for the Coast-to-Crest Trail. See LOCATION
Lake Sutherland East property is rich in natural and cultural resources. See RESOURCE VALUES
We have a sales agreement for the Lake Sutherland East property. See PLAN FOR FUNDING ACQUISITION OF SUTHERLAND EAST
Public fundraising is needed as local share to be competitive for state grants that are expected to fund the majority of the approximately $1 million purchase. Donations to the Conservancy are fully tax deductible. See HOW TO DONATE
To meet the $400,000 fundraising goal, we will need broad participation from throughout the San Diego community. We will be depending on River Park supporters to reach out to the broader community. See WAYS TO HELP
