Recovering from the Witch Fire

As I tried to collect my thoughts about the last six months to write this season’s column it became apparent that it would be difficult.  To communicate the lows and highs of the River Park’s recovery since the Witch Creek fire was going to be a considerable challenge – the kind that makes it hard to get started because you are not sure where to start.   That’s when my phone rang to thankfully interrupt me.   It was Logan Jenkins asking if he could stop by to talk about what the River Park was doing to recover.   He did and we talked and toured some of the recovery projects under way.   Then Logan wrote what I would have written if I had his talent.   I’m just smart enough to know when to stop.  If you haven’t read Logan’s July 28 Union Tribune Column yet, please click here to enjoy.
