It was a festive day Saturday, as the pictures below show, when the Strawberry Stand Wetland Learning Center was dedicated and we celebrated the kickoff of the San Dieguito Wetland Restoration Project.
Below, San Dieguito River Park Board Chair Pam Slater-Price makes a special presentation to former San Dieguito River Park Executive Director Diane Barlow Coombs.
Diane's family joined her in front of a special engraved etching in her honor. The etching will be displayed here and at the future permanent Nature Center.
