Strawberry Stand Kiosk

November 2003 Construction Update
A four-tier scaffold was erected to put in place
a frame for the
22-foot-high open pavilion that will be added to the south side
of the
Strawberry Stand (return to the artist's rendering to visualize
how this
shelter will focus views toward the San Dieguito Lagoon).
Raising a 22-foot-high 2x6 framed wall isn't easy.
Here it was done with a
pulley system anchored to the scaffold and foundation using truck-power.
With the pavilion walls up, the roof framing is
next.
