Scout Projects

If you are a scout looking for that perfect project to satisfy your Eagle or Golden Badge, then why not do it at the San Dieguito River Park?  We have a list of projects to choose from so that you can do something that you want to do, plus, the Park Rangers will work closely with you to make sure that the project goes smoothly.  After you choose your project and make sure that it is still available, run it by your Scout Counselor.  Every Scout Counselor is different, and most counselors nowadays want their scouts to do a project that provides a real lasting benefit to the community, and at the same time, offers the scout a solid learning experience.  So, we offer trail upgrade and reconstruction projects, wildlife habitat rehabilitation projects, projects to close and revegetate illegal trails, and as always, building and construction projects.  Click here for the current Scout Project List.
