Youth Projects

Scouts Help Build the Park in 2005

 

Artie Velasco (Troop 625)- built and installed four (4) Rocket Bat House Boxes
in San Pasqual near Highway 78 Staging Area, just off of the trail.



Adam Holmes (Troop 685) - built and installed the side kiosk extensions
out at Highland Valley Staging Area. 
He also installed a roof on the existing kiosk and refurbished it as well.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

John Elliott (Troop 680) - he planted 35 five gallon Coast Live Oak Tree out
at the East Raptor Grassland Section in San Pasqual. 
He also installed a drip-line system to irrigate the plants.


Jeff Knuckles (Troop 730) - he built and installed Recycled Plastic Lumber
Picnic Tables at the San Diego Archaeological Center.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Michael Cooke (Troop 681) - he planted 25 five gallon Coast Live Oak
Tree out at the East Raptor Grassland Section in San Pasqual. 
He also installed a drip-line system to irrigate the plants.



Michael Wagner (Troop 782) - he built and installed a single-sided kiosk at
Lake Hodges, in addition to planting and mulching 25 Mule Fat Stakes in the same area.



Nathan Chambers (Troop 680) - he cleared, mulched, and planted native
vegetation on the Northwest side of our Sycamore Creek Office. 
He also fixed the irrigation system that waters the plants.



Timothy Carroll (Troop 681) - he built and installed Recycled Plastic
Lumber Benches along the San Pasqual Valley Trail.


Tim Hissem (Troop 685) - he installed the Drainage Lens/Causeway
that is located on the North Shore Lake Hodges Trail.
