November 2003 Progress Report
These restoration photos were taken in September, October and
November 2003
The roof goes up…

New rafters installed over the sitting room area
Then filled in.

The picture below shows a worker working on ceiling rafters in
the adobe (kitchen) area. Observe the metal beam across the adobe
wall. This is for modern seismic safety purposes, and cannot be
hidden from view.

Porch overhang being replaced. The porch was one of the first structures
on the house to deteriorate.

Shingles on the roof, awaiting installation.

New roof finally in place
