The Trust for Public Land
Celebrates the Boudreau Acquisition
with a Party on October 16

With a catered barbecue and the sounds of bluegrass music, TPL hosted its partners, the San Dieguito River Park JPA, the San Dieguito River Valley Conservancy, the California Coastal Conservancy and the Wildlife Conservation Board, along with key legislators and members of the public in a celebration of the San Dieguito River Park's recent purchase of the 75-acre Boudreau floodplain property. The property is located west of El Camino Real and south of the San Dieguito River. The property, which has been farmed for a number of years, will be maintained in open space, and will be restored to natural habitat in the next few years.

San Dieguito River Park Executive Director Dick Bobertz points to the new acquisition.

"Gone Tomorrow" provided the music. Haybale seating added to the atmosphere.
