Over 100 years ago, Halloween was celebrated in the San Pasqual Valley, by the youth of the little town of Bernardo.  In keeping with some of these traditions, we are inviting you to join us for the second annual “Spooktacular” at the Sikes Adobe Historic Farmstead!  Halloween fun will be shared on Sunday, October 26th, from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and includes activities for the whole family!  Weave a web, Pin the wing on the Bat, wrap a mummy, Guess the Goo, peel and enjoy apples, hit a pinata and try the scavenger hunt!  Cost $5.00 per family or group of four.  The Sikes Adobe is located at 12655 Sunset Drive, Escondido, 92025.  The Farmers’ Market will have trick or treating, too!  Costumes are encouraged, but not required.
