The San Dieguito River Park hosts many educational events throughout the year, like High Tech Elementary North County’s Family Days, featured in this short video.

High Tech Elementary teacher Shelley’s second grade class visited the San Dieguito Lagoon and Crest Canyon to learn about the different animals that live in the area. Each student chose one animal to research and sketch, and together the class created an ABC Field Guide that they presented at Family Days.
