UPDATE 8/25/15: On Friday, August 21, REI announced they would invest an extra $10,000 to each trail, for a new total of $43,825 invested to the Coast to Crest Trail.

REI launched the Every Trail Connects campaign to invest $500,000 among 10 selected trails, including the San Dieguito River Park Coast to Crest Trail, on Friday, August 14. Visitors to REI’s campaign website had a chance to vote for which trail they wanted to fund, with each vote worth $5. It did not take very long for all 100,000 possible votes to be cast (less than 2 days). Thanks to your votes, REI will invest $33,825 toward the construction of the Pamo Valley segment of the Coast to Crest Trail!
