This weekend on Sunday April 16th the San Dieguito River Park will once again be host to the 12th Annual Belgian Waffle Ride bike event! The River Parks trail system including the Del Dios Gorge, North Shore, Mule Hill, San Pasqual Valley, Highland Valley and Bernardo Bay trails will be temporarily closed from 0600 to 1400 for the safety of the public and the riders in the event. Please do not enter the trails during this time.

The trails will be open in the afternoon but be aware there may still be some participants from the event on course.

All staging areas along the route will also be closed during this time, these include the Del Dios Gorge staging area, Hernandez Hideaway staging area, Sunset staging area, Old Coach staging area, Ysabel Creek staging area and 78/Bandy Canyon staging area, Highland Valley staging area and Bernardo Bay staging area. The Lake Hodges  pedestrian bridge will also be closed during this time.
